Anthony Haynes writes: In this interview, Dr Bart Hallmark provides a wealth of practical insights derived from his intensive experience of moving from in-person lecturing to delivering lectures via video.

We concentrate first on what goes wrong -- those things that online lecturers do, but shouldn't, or don't do, but really should.

And then we consider what makes for good practice and distill a series of tips for making online lectures a successful learning experience.
